Welcome to Scottish-Rowing.org.uk and its partner IsMySport.org. (“Scottish Rowing”). Scottish Rowing provides its service to you, subject to the following Terms of Use ("Terms"), which may be updated by us from time to time. In addition, when using particular Scottish Rowing services, you and Scottish Rowing shall be subject to any posted guidelines or rules applicable to such services which may be posted from time to time. All such guidelines or rules (including but not limited to our Spam Policy) are hereby incorporated by reference into the Terms. Scottish Rowing may also offer other services that are governed by different Terms.
Scottish Rowing, maintains this and other websites as a service to its members and individual members. By accessing and/or using the web sites owned, operated and/or maintained by Scottish Rowing (the "Scottish Rowing sites"), you are expressly agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and the Scottish Rowing Privacy Statement, as well as all applicable laws and regulations. Copyright.
Ownership. All content included on the Scottish Rowing sites, such as text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips and software, is the property of Scottish Rowing or its content suppliers and protected by international copyright laws. The compilation (meaning the collection, arrangement and assembly) of all content on the Scottish Rowing sites is the exclusive property of Scottish Rowing and protected by international copyright laws. All software used on the Scottish Rowing sites is the property of Scottish Rowing or its software suppliers and protected by international copyright laws.

By entering this site you acknowledge and agree that any name, logo, trademark, or servicemark contained on this site is owned or licensed by Scottish Rowing and/or event partners and may not be used by you without prior written approval. Scottish Rowing will aggressively enforce its intellectual property rights to the full extent of the law. Scottish Rowing tradenames are Scottish Rowing.
User Submissions and Content
Do not post on this site, or transmit to this site, any pornographic, obscene, profane, defamatory, libellous, threatening, unlawful or other material which could constitute or encourage conduct that would be considered a criminal offence, give rise to civil liability, promote the excessive or irresponsible consumption of alcohol, or otherwise violate any law or regulation. Notwithstanding the fact that Scottish Rowing or other parties involved in creating, producing, or delivering this site, may monitor or review transmissions, posting, discussions, or chats, Scottish Rowing and all parties involved in creating, producing or delivering this site, assume no responsibility or liability which may arise from the content thereof, including but not limited to claims for defamation, libel, slander, obscenity, pornography, profanity, or misrepresentation.
Scottish Rowing may provide interactive areas on the Scottish Rowing sites, in which users may post communications. You alone are responsible for the content of your communications, and the consequences of any such communications.
In consideration of being allowed to use Scottish Rowing, you agree:
1.    Not to use an inappropriate member name of any kind.
2.  Not to post or use the Scottish Rowing sites to distribute or send any illegal material of any kind, including but not limited to, illegal material in the form of text, graphics, video, programs or audio.
Such actions shall constitute a material breach of these Terms of Use. Scottish Rowing reserves the right to delete from the Scottish Rowing sites any postings or member names that violate the above terms and will cooperate fully with any law enforcement officials and/or agencies in the investigation of any violator or violators.
Registration and Password
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login ID and password (your "registration"). You shall be responsible for all uses of your registration, whether or not authorized by you. You agree to immediately notify Scottish Rowing of any unauthorized use of your registration.
Disclaimer of Warranties
We and all other web publishers have no control over the Internet, which is a global public network of computers and the method by which you access our website. As a consequence and in common with most web publishers we take no responsibility for service interruption or the transmission of viruses or other malicious computer code through our website.

Scottish Rowing SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, RESULTING FROM (A) THE USE OR THE INABILITY TO USE Scottish Rowing OR (B) FOR THE COST OF PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS AND SERVICES OR (C) RESULTING FROM ANY GOODS OR SERVICES PURCHASED OR OBTAINED OR MESSAGES RECEIVED OR TRANSACTIONS ENTERED INTO THROUGH Scottish Rowing OR (D) RESULTING FROM UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR DATA, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, USE, DATA OR OTHER INTANGIBLE, EVEN IF Scottish Rowing HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold each of Scottish Rowing and its officers and employees harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of Scottish Rowing, the violation of these Terms of Use by you, or the infringement by you, or any other subscriber of your account, of any intellectual property or other right of any person or entity.
Termination
Scottish Rowing reserves the right, at its sole discretion, immediately and without notice to suspend or terminate (i) these Terms of Use; (ii) your registration with or ability to access Scottish Rowing and/or any other service provided to you by Scottish Rowing upon any breach by you of the Terms of Use or upon your demonstration of conduct that Scottish Rowing determines to be inappropriate.
Applicable Law; Consent to Jurisdiction
BY ENTERING THIS SITE YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT THIS SITE WILL ONLY BE CONSTRUED AND EVALUATED ACCORDING TO SCOTTISH LAW. IF YOU USE THIS SITE FROM OTHER JURISDICTIONS YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR COMPLIANCE WITH ANY AND ALL APPLICABLE LOCAL LAWS.
You agree that exclusive jurisdiction for any dispute with Scottish Rowing, or in any way relating to your membership or use of Scottish Rowing, resides in the courts of Scotland and you further agree and expressly consent to the exercise of personal jurisdiction in the courts of Scotland in connection with any dispute including any claim involving Scottish Rowing or its affiliates, subsidiaries, employees, contractors, officers, directors, telecommunication providers and content providers. If any provision of these terms shall be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from these terms and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
Currencies
The currency for any transaction will be the the same as that of the membership fee.
Payments/Refunds
1.  It is important to note that the charges/fees and conditions are subject to change.
2.  Membership Refunds – members may cancel their membership within 7 days but an administration charge may be made to competitors to cover any costs incurred.
Miscellaneous
Although this site may be linked to other sites, Scottish Rowing is not, directly or indirectly, implying any approval, association, sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation with the linked site, unless specifically stated therein. By entering this site you acknowledge and agree that Scottish Rowing has not reviewed all the sites linked to this site and is not responsible for the content of any off-site pages or any other site linked to this site. Your linking to any other off-site pages or other sites is at your own risk.
The failure of either party to insist upon or enforce strict performance by the other party of any provision of the Terms of Use or to exercise any right under the Terms of Use will not be construed as a waiver or relinquishment to any extent of such party's right to assert or rely upon any such provision or right in that or any other instance, rather, the same will be and remain in full force and effect.
Scottish Rowing may assign its rights and obligations under these Terms of Use and upon such assignment Scottish Rowing may be relieved of any further obligation hereunder.
You represent to Scottish Rowing that you have the authority to register with Scottish Rowing according to these Terms of Use.
Scottish Rowing reserves the right to charge fees, surcharges and/or membership fees at any time and to change these by giving sufficient notice.
